Garry Watkins of Leitchfield, Kentucky is a graduate of Western Kentucky University. A CPA, he practiced public accounting for 25 years. In 1982 he began developing affordable housing principally in Kentucky. He is the President of Wabuck Development Company, Inc., and Clayton Watkins Construction Company. His companies have developed, built, and currently manage 6,000 affordable housing units utilizing a wide range of financing resources. These developments include numerous partnerships with non-profit entities and cities. They also include projects serving special needs and academic empowerment programs.
