Artificial Intelligence for Elected Officials

Fort Wright Mayor Dave Hatter, who’s also a cybersecurity expert with Cincinnati-based IT company Intrust IT and self-proclaimed “tin foil hat maniac,” will give a presentation on cybersecurity best practices, especially as it relates to elected officials.


How Session Aligns with CEDS and Local Strategic Plans

Each breakout session featured is thoughtfully aligned with the key goals and objectives outlined in both the regional Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) and the Local Strategic Plans developed for each of BRADD’s 10 counties. These sessions were designed to support the implementation of locally driven priorities and regional strategies that move our communities forward.

About me

Dave is an accomplished technology leader with over 30 years of experience in software development, cybersecurity, and project management. He holds numerous industry certifications, including CISSP, CISA, PMP, and CCSP, and has authored or contributed to over a dozen books and 100+ articles, with media appearances on outlets such as CNN, Fox News, NPR, and The Wall Street Journal. A frequent expert guest on radio and TV, he has completed over 2,500 interviews nationwide. Dave has taught over 1,000 students as an adjunct instructor and regularly presents for organizations like ISC2, ISACA, and PMI. He has served as Mayor of Fort Wright, KY, since 2015 and is active on numerous advisory boards. Recognized with multiple leadership and service awards, he currently works as a Cybersecurity Consultant at Intrust IT.
