A New Approach to Comprehensive Economic Development Strategies

A Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) is a strategy-driven plan for regional economic development. A CEDS is the result of a regionally-owned planning process designed to build capacity and guide the economic prosperity and resiliency of an area or region. For more information on the CEDS process and requirements, visit https://eda.gov/ceds/.

The 2022 – 2027 CEDS for the Barren River Area Development District Region aims to build a roadmap for economic development and prosperity in Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson, and Warren Counties. After reading through the draft of the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy for the ten-county BRADD Region, please submit your comments for review through this online form. The Public Comment Period will last for 30 days.

On October 21, this form will be closed and the draft of the 2022-2027 CEDS will be finalized, taking all submitted comments into account. Please contact Emily Hathcock, Associate Director of Planning & Development, at emily.hathcock@bradd.org, with any questions. Thank you for your participation in the making of this CEDS.
