About me
Jennifer Burnett is the Director of Policy, Research and Communications at Kentucky Association of Counties. Prior to joining the Kentucky Association of Counties in 2018, Jennifer was the director of fiscal and economic development policy at the Council of State Governments (CSG) and served as research fellow to the State International Development Organizations. Before her tenure at CSG, Jennifer was a research associate at the University of Kentucky Center for Business and Economic Research and a legislative aide for a member of the Canadian Parliament. She holds bachelor’s degrees in economics and finance from the University of Kentucky, a master’s degree from the Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce at the University of Kentucky, and a Juris Doctor from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Jennifer manages the policy and research, training and education, IT and communications departments at KACo.
About me
Judge Joe Choate was originally elected in 2018 to the office of Hart County Judge Executive and reelected in 2021 for a second term. A native of Larue County, Judge Choate makes his home in Hart County with his wife Whitney and their children. He is very active in his community. He previously worked in auto wholesale and real estate prior to becoming county judge. In his second term he is serving on several boards and associations, including Vice Chair of BRADD, the KY Council of ADDs, Ky Association of Counties and the KY County Judge Executive Association, where he serves as the Barren River ADD Representative to their board of directors.
