Nic Hutchison is the Planning Director and Main Street Director for Paducah, KY. Nic has a bachelor’s degree in Community and Regional Planning from Missouri State University,
and a Masters of Planning from The University of Virginia. Nic has worked at local, state and federal levels of government, and prior to coming to Kentucky in 2021; Nic served as executive
director of Mo-Kan Regional Council Regional Planning Commission in St. Joseph, Missouri. Mo-Kan provided services to 36 municipalities and six counties in a two-state region. During his
time at Mo-Kan Nic worked to develop Main Street communities across the region to help promote economic vitality and the work of the organization. Nic believes the program’s four point
approach is a vital tool to successful economic development in rural communities, and is excited to take Paducah, Kentucky to the next level.
