About me

Dajana Crockett is the Disaster Resiliency Coordinator at the Barren River Area Development District (BRADD) and has been with BRADD since July 2017. While at BRADD, Dajana has developed and administered numerous grant applications from various state and federal funding sources. She primarily works with emergency management personnel on hazard mitigation projects and updating the Multi-Jurisdictional Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan. Dajana is also a Certified Community Development Block Grant Administrator.

Dajana believes that we can turn our communities into thriving entities through fostering inter-agency relationships to accomplish our goals. With the decline in availability of grant monies, it is important for funding agencies to work together with local communities in order to build successful projects.

Dajana holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Social Studies with minors in Criminology and Legal Studies and a Master of Public Administration with a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Communication from Western Kentucky University.
