How Session Aligns with CEDS and Local Strategic Plans

Each breakout session featured is thoughtfully aligned with the key goals and objectives outlined in both the regional Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) and the Local Strategic Plans developed for each of BRADD’s 10 counties. These sessions were designed to support the implementation of locally driven priorities and regional strategies that move our communities forward.

Ashlee Chilton

About me

Ashlee Chilton is a Senior Project Manager with the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development. She has served on the Business and Community Development team since September 2021. Her primary responsibility is to work closely with new businesses and existing industries to support job growth and investment throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky. 

A native Kentuckian, Chilton was previously employed as a Museum Educator at both the Kentucky Historical Society and the International Museum of the Horse at the Kentucky Horse Park. She earned her bachelor’s degree in History and master’s degree in Art History at the University of Kentucky and considers herself lucky in finding fulfilling roles in which to serve her communities and state. She currently lives in Georgetown with her 11-year-old daughter.

Amy Mills

About me

Amy Mills has been with the Cabinet since 2022, first serving as a compliance officer in the Department for Financial Services. Amy was recently promoted to Sites-Buildings Manager in the Research department where she utilizes her extensive background in real estate to track available sites and buildings across the state, as well as promote great opportunities for companies locating in their New Kentucky Home.

Jenny Schenkenfelder

About me

Jenny Schenkenfelder serves as the Senior Sites & Buildings Manager and GIS Analyst for the Cabinet for Economic Development. Starting in 1999, Jenny helped convert all economic development properties to digital and GIS formats. She most recently spearheaded the transfer of that legacy sites and buildings database to the online ZoomProspector platform at SelectKentucky.com that currently hosts over 700 active properties across the Commonwealth.

Terri Bradshaw

About me

Terri Bradshaw, President of the Kentucky Association for Economic Development, is a recognized leader with over 30 years of experience in workforce and economic development. Previously, she served nearly a decade as President/CEO of the Kentucky Capital Development Corporation (KCDC), helping Frankfort earn national recognition for job creation and investment. Bradshaw founded EmpowHER Frankfort, co-created DIG Frankfort and the Regional Youth Leadership initiative, and was named a 2023 Economic Development Rock Star by Southern Business & Development magazine. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles in state economic and workforce development agencies and has served on numerous national and regional boards.
